WOLFSQUINTEN
Playing with the fire and passion is a must for WOLFSQUINTEN. This soulful and eclectic trio stands for versatility and quality in the guitar trio format. Looking for expression in an emotional and culturel way, Jaro Milko brings harmony, melody and rhythm from his work in different groups in a looser and more improvised artform together. The trio creates a moody, powerfull and mystic atmosphere. Including Stephan Brunner on double-& electricbass, Michi Stulz on drums/ percussion and Jaro Milko on guitar, the group brings out the soul of Milko's compositions.
Work in progress is a dogma for WOLFSQUINTEN, the group permanently introduces new styles to their own sound and is playing with several singers. The new songs also include vocals by Lisette Spinnler and Emmi Lichtenhahn. Both singers are know personalities in the Swiss Jazz- and Rockscene. The band is working always on a new repertory, which also includes never heard cover versions of artists from different genres.
Jaro Milko is a demand musician and composer of diverse groups from different musicstyles. He works with artists such as Prekmurski Kavbojci, Carma Star, Natacha, Boerni, Laura Pausini, The Dhol Foundation, Yolk, toured with Firewater in US and EU and works on an other own project named ABULAFIA
Stephan Brunner is a versatil bassist and plays in diverse groups such as Aphid, The Rocketwheels, LUV, Spaltklang and Featherlike. He also played in the musical Grease
Michi Stulz is one of the upcoming drummers in the Swiss Jazzscene. He plays with artists and groups such as Oli Friedli, Lisette Spinnler, Urs Bachthaler, Houry Apartian, Noretro, Siawaloma, H2S2, Humour´s Humidity
