Coming from many local band's ashes and different musical worlds like stoner, metalcore and neo-metal, every musician of WTLD have many years of practice and, like the Rosetta stone, each wrote a piece of the band's history in their own musical language, putting in some darkness and melancholy in their own style. All this turned into a highly effective and dark kind of postrock made with long and progressive title’s structure, leaving more to think of a musical piece related to the subject than a simple song. You can find in WLTD's music the influence of bands like The Red Sparowes, Isis, Mogwai, Mono and Archive to mention only few of them.
After some line-up modifications, we find our "stable" shape in 2012 as follows:

it is very possible that some more musicians might join us on stage.
2013 promises to be a busy year for WTLD as they will return on stage armed with an eponymous debut EP of 3 tracks recorded in the studio "Hummus Room" in La Chaux-de-Fonds / Switzerland by Jonathan Nido (The Ocean / Coilguns ) and mixed and mastered in Studio Digisub Sion / Switzerland by Loïc Rossetti (The Ocean). This first opus is fully auto-produced at 300 ex. and is, at this moment, auto-distributed too. We also have a video illustrating the first title called "emperor".
New tracks have been composed since we recorded this EP wich extended our live session to about an hour. Obviously we plan to schedule new recording sessions in autumn to produce a full length cd early in 2014…
