Hard hitting beats, emotion-filled lyrics and an expressive voice – characteristics that have been prevalent in SNK's music since 2009. The swiss based Rapper spend his teenage years in the south west of England trying to make himself a name through battle rap before falling in love with the local open mic scene and working together and joining a band.His solo-debut “No Hero / Nightwalker” (NHNW) was released in 2012 and made available to the digital world for free. Using his intricate wordplay and delivery the cosmopolitan with Kenyan roots celebrated individual- & nerd-ism between melodic productions and vibes that were reminiscent of early Childish Gambino, Grieves or Drake. “NHNW was a time of self-discovery, identification. I guess you could say this was my interpretation of living between the worlds.”
SNK and his music have matured. Early Fall of 2014 he travelled to the West Coast of the US to produce the “Summer of Dreams” (SoD) EP together with his partner in crime, director and video artist, Pascale Manuel Vegas. They recorded, wrote and researched while traveling – Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Las Vegas.Summer Of Dreams tells the story of an adventure, a journey to the West Coast following the lure of stardom, dreams of love and a picture perfect Hollywood lifestyle. Where each song represents different cities or their inhabitants, capturing the vibe, atmosphere or characters encountered while traveling.The hardworking German producer duo SVPA X NOVA (Olson, Kaynbock, Montez) are responsible for the majority of the productions while Switzerland's up-and-coming Cynic (Manillio, Steezo, Lesson Learned) and international hit makers Freedo & Shuko ( Guy Sebastian, Sexion d'Assaut, G Dragon) also feature in the credits. Guest appearances are made by Britain's premier duo Streets All Salute (S.A.S) and Swiss Starlet Cherie Williams.
