Sérotonine because it feels good! Three people from very different backgrounds and horizons meet in the theory room of the soccer stadium they've occupied for 7 years in Biel. Where match strategies used to be worked out on an old blackboard sitting on chairs like in a school classroom reeking of perspiration, the Acid rave and post-pop trio have set up shop! Now, it stinks of cigarettes and old hoe, but it's still a good sport!
La Sérotonine is made up of several members, including Adrien who lives in Brussels, Rémy from the watchmaking capital La Chaux-de-Fonds, and Dany Digler who hails from who knows where... Born in Belgium to Dutch parents, he went to school in Reims, then took a beating in Marseille and ended up in Switzerland, where there are mountains and lakes, but above all lots of squats, clubs and an abandoned stadium.
Tired of lugging around big amps and drums, they started messing around with synths. It's not heavy, it's never drunk, and that's one thing for sure. They released their first maxi 45 on their own LCD83 label, “La Mer Se Dessine”, about the little mountain paths that run down to the Autoroute du Soleil and into the sea (and they're poets, too). Their adventure got off to a good start, with concert dates starting to fall. It didn't take long for them to realize that they could make a big splash with the big sound systems!
