We have known each other for over twenty years, thanks to an announcement on the bulletin board of the music academy where we studied.
We immediately got along well, both musically and humanly, and we started working, rehearsing together twice a week.
Silvia brought the pieces, and in the room Giacomo, Carlo and Davide worked on their instruments, shaping their ideas depending on what was happening between all of us.
With some exceptions: "Cammino", which has an intense text by Carlo; "Soffio", born from a brilliant riff idea by Giacomo.
We debuted at the Sicurcaiv in Grassina (Florence), and then played in various venues, or outdoors at events in the Florentine summer and surroundings; self-
producing various demos.
However, our study and professional paths gradually separated us also geographically.. so the project was interrupted.
Carlo continued his commitment as a teacher: teaching; with articles in specialized magazines (drum club), and writing 2 teaching methods. Always playing professionally in the studio and live in Pop, Rock, Jazz and Fusion formations.
Giacomo also continued to perfect his instrument; at the same time teaching and playing professionally in various Ska, Hard Rock, Alternative Pop musical formations (Cayo Rosso, Elephant Rumble, Giulia and the Dizzyness).
Davide has undertaken composition studies, an area in which he currently works a lot, also as a teacher (Scuola di Musica di Fiesole)..
Silvia has deepened her studies, following her interest in counterpoint and polyphony (choral music), ancient music (continuous on the harpsichord), baroque violin. Teaching music and piano, and making musical transcriptions of various kinds (Zurich).
A couple of years ago Silvia started writing in song form again and working on some arrangements. Resuming contact with the others, she fortunately found them available to reopen the project. With the exception of Davide unfortunately, too busy with work as a composer.
It is at this point that Camilla joined us, an excellent Pop Rock bassist, and also a very good classically trained double bass player; very active simultaneously in various orchestral formations, as well as in Latin American music, from Tango to popular, to Latin Jazz in general.
Our project is to bring our works to the public, in concerts and recordings. To see what creative musical result can have a synthesis between such different, but open, skills.
