No Sun In San Francisco is a musical project involving five musicians from different backgrounds
sharing a common desire: creating an original and captivating music.
Founded in early 2011, the project was quickly productive and the first demos rapidly allowed the
band to do some concerts.
Far from denying their origins, the music of Raul (Kruger, The View Electrical), Juan Pablo
(Erradic), Bruno, Etienne and Bruno is characterized by a maniac desire to think outside the box.
By mixing brutality and sweetness, intensity and experiments, the band aim to create a dark and
oppressive atmosphere punctuated with raging vocals.
After a series of shows throughout western Switzerland and a passage at the Metal Assault Festival,
No Sun In San Francisco entered the studio at the end of 2012 to record the result of months of
work and pursue a process that would allow them to catch a glimpse of other opportunities.
Their first LP, Principles and Particles, was recorded and mixed by Raphaël Bovey (Kruger, Rorcal,
Zatokrev, ...). It has been out since February 28, 2013 and followed by a lot of articles. It was also
broadcasted on the Krakoukass show on Couleur 3 (Swiss national radio).
In a very near future, No Sun In San Francisco hopes to have the opportunity to invade a maximum
of venues across Switzerland and farther, to tour and to release a new EP, on which they are already
working at the moment...
