Between hazy pop and ethereal folk, Jeremy Joel's music evokes soundscapes that transport the listener to another world. The soaring guitars, lyrical violins, and vocal harmonies weave a rich and cinematic musical tapestry that conjures up wide open spaces.
His lyrics, sometimes introspective, sometimes narrative, explore our doubts, our dreams, and the stories of lives that intertwine daily, like waves that come and go on the shore.
After 15 years spent sharing the stage with various bands, performing nearly 500 concerts in Switzerland, France, Germany, the UK, Morocco, and beyond, and recording around twenty albums, Jeremy Joel finally embarks on his own folk-pop project.
----------------------------
In 2023, he records his first tracks at Kitchen Studio, under the direction of Yvan Bing (Phil Collins, Coldplay, Gilberto Gil…). He then forms a band and starts a series of concerts from June that same year.
By October, he chooses to perform as a trio, to play in more intimate venues and reach a closer audience. This new setup allows him to create a more direct connection with his listeners, while still preserving the emotional depth of his songs.
In December 2023 and 2024, Jeremy Joel is among the 30 artists selected from around the world to perform solo for one week at the Songbird Festival in Davos.
His first EP Leave This Shelter will be released in spring 2025. Three tracks have already found a place on Swiss radio playlists, including Option Musique on RTS, and a tour in Switzerland, France, and Germany is in the works. His second EP will be recorded at the end of 2025.
