The rising duo IRIÉ brings a message of freedom and empowerment to the stage with pulsating beats, electrifying rhythms, and delicate acoustics. While singers and sound producers Gabriella Plumettaz (she/her) and Niria Kaufmann (she/her) live and grew up in Switzerland, the duo passionately embraces their Brazilian roots, seamlessly blending these influences into a musical journey.
Shaped by hybrid electronica and techno infused with Brazilian vocals, the duo touches the core with their powerful and sensual voices, making everything vibrate.
Their first public appearance was at the Feminist Strike 2022 in Bern, which introduced their name to the Bernese music scene. Following the release of their debut album liquid and a sold-out album launch in December 2023, they were booked for inter-cantonal headline performances, including the Grabenhalle St. Gallen, Sedel Lucerne, Bivio Festival, and Albani Winterthur. They also performed at the Gurten Festival, Stäketörifreiluft Festival, Tratra Festival in Basel, and many other festivals during the summer season of 2024.
