Intergalactic Police is a four-piece alternative rock-band from Lucerne, Switzerland, formed in summer 2007. Their line-up consists of Thomas Zurfluh (vocals, guitars, keys) Mladen Djakovic (guitars/vocals), Jack Haas (bass/vocals) and Philipp Boateng (drums). The band was named after some characters from the cartoon series, “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”.
Their debut-EP, “Finest Cop Porn”, was produced by Patrik Zosso and Philipe Burrell from Marygold. It was self-released on September 27, 2008. Shortly after the biggest European online -marketing community “trnd” became aware of the demo-song, Sleepless, and released it on its next sampler, trnd tunes 3.3.
In November 2008 the band supported the only Swiss show of “HORSE the Band” on their European tour.
Since then, the band has finished its second EP. It will be released on December 12th, 2009.
Two years after their beginnings, the band made its name as an energetic live band after playing dozens of shows around Switzerland. They wrote loads of new songs, recorded two EPs and aspire to achieve even bigger things, such as a tour through Europe and the production of their first album.
