Winterthur/ Athens
Dark electro beats from techno producer Karatech meet singer-songwriter haldi. The result is danceable and powerful sounds, combined with hymnic guitar and vocal lines.
The two childhood friends from the Winterthur area have been making music together since their youth. Inspired by their love of avant-garde music, they produced the soundtrack for a theater in the 90s under the name "kitzel me til I cry". Later they went different musical paths. While Philippe Haldimann played lead guitar in the indie rock band valium21 for 6 years and then started his solo project as haldi, Dominik Brun moved to Athens and produced electronic music under the name Karatech. In 2020, Domi asked haldi for some guitar sounds and the instrumental piece Echoes of fallen Angels was created over the web. Motivated by the positive feedback and the great joy of working together, the haldom project was born. Driving beats and spherical, dark sounds, combined with hymnic guitar and vocal lines. With one foot in the club and the other at the rock concert: That's haldom!
Both musicians have a lot of live experience from their other projects. Soon they will be on stage together as haldom!
