Enrique Spacca is an italo-colombian pianist and singer. After years of sound exploration with bands such as @La Belvert, La Gare and the Trust Companions he started his solo project as part of an artistic research that includes music, visual arts and writing.
Enrique Spacca’s music transports the audience into a colourful universe of voice melodies twining with the jazzy harmonies of an introspective piano.
Based in Switzerland he mixes Italian, English and French, singing stories of a world in transformation, using symbols of the unconscious that become visions, dreams and manifestations of a self determined future.
In his eclectic songwriting, he includes impressions of his home land Tuscany, as well as landscapes of the Alps, seas and forests in a perpetual longing for nature as a safe place and as the origin of everything.
Some of Enrique Spacca’s main inspirations are:
Philip Glass, Andy Shauf, Aldous Harding, Franco Battiato, Ray Charles, Jon Hassell, Villagers, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Caetano Veloso, Andrea Laslo De Simone
He is currently producing his first solo album while freelancing as graphic designer, illustrator and art educator.
