Eddie is an independent musician, producer and video maker that started publishing his original music back in 2009, he began with around 20 piano compositions before releasing his first electronic album in 2011. By 2013, he had self-released 3 albums drawing inspiration from his influences and love for trip-hop, instrumental hip-hop and soundtracks, mixed up with his classical background that gives to his music a very singular vibe and sound.
In 2014 while traveling, Eddie took advantage of being away from the studio to learn how to DJ with a natural wish to spread the ton of music he was digging on a daily habit. Back home, he founded the label Diffract Records and wrote a fourth album that would be released later through the new label.
Between 2017 and 2022, Eddie prioritized his label over his productions and worked on 7 projects which will be released on vinyl, music produced by his local friends and artists, he also put out a compilation featuring international and renowned names on the trip-hop / abstract hip-hop scene. At the same time, Eddie was DJing at many events and festivals and didn’t miss the occasion of keeping composing music and posting some stuff on soundcloud when he found time to.
Since 2022, with all these experiences and some new influences such as world music, ambient, drum’n’bass, jungle and techno, Eddie Allamand is back at what he is now sure to love the most, composing, producing and sharing his music. Eddie continues to release tracks under his different aliases, preferring to be able to release them quickly rather than working extended periods of time on albums or bigger projects.
