A couple of years before becoming a member of a boy acapella group during his teenage years, Brown C. discovered his passion for music and embarked on a journey that would shape his artistic career. The group released an audio cassette album in Cameroon, marking the beginning of Brown C.’s musical exploration.
Drawing inspiration from a vast array of genres, including pop, rock, R&B, smooth jazz, classical music, country music, hip-hop, afrobeats, makossa, ndombolo, and other African and world music, dancehall, reggae, and Latin music, Brown C. developed a unique and eclectic sound that defies categorization.
In 2012, Brown C. made his official debut as a solo artist with the release of his first single, “Attention.” Accompanied by a captivating music video filmed in the vibrant city of Zürich, the song showcased his talent and served as a testament to his dedication to his craft.
Since then, Brown C. has continued to release a string of captivating songs, featuring original compositions and productions that showcase his versatility and creativity. Collaborations with fellow artists such as Deep Attitude, Myco, and Alessio Pras have further enriched his musical repertoire and allowed him to explore new dimensions in his artistry.
Looking toward the future, Brown C. just released his debut album “DRAGGA” on October 14th 2023. This self-written and self-produced project embodies 14 songs with an afrobeat/afropop/dancehall vibe, reflecting his deep connection to his African roots while infusing elements from various global musical traditions.
