"Last Christmas break, I took a deep dive into my music archives," Mathur recalls. "What I found was pure gold — songs that never saw the light of day, not because they weren’t good, but because they didn’t fit the rigid industry mold back then and just didn’t get released. Times have changed, and these tracks deserve to be heard."

Originally produced in the early 90s, this powerhouse track is a smokin' hot collaboration between Ajay's band MAINSTREET and the unstoppable British rock force Misty Jervis (Wild Hearts). Raw, melodic and bursting with attitude, “Under the Sun” blends driving rock energy with vocal fireworks that hit like lightning.
Back in the day, both MAINSTREET and WILD HEARTS were media darlings of the Swiss rock scene — their paths destined to cross. The result? A track that still buzzes with electrifying intensity and relevance.
Misty Jervis brings soul, grit, and sheer vocal dynamite to the mix. Born in Stoke-on-Trent (UK), raised on music, Misty stepped onto the stage at just 13 — singing Barbara Streisand’s “Paper Roses” in place of her dad’s band singer. While she first fell in love with Streisand’s power ballads, her heart was captured by rock music when she moved to London in the 80s, stepping into the role of lead singer for The Torpedoes (replacing none other than Phil Lewis of L.A. Guns).
Her journey led her through the roaring highs of the Wild Hearts era — including a Best Vocalist award from Germany in the late '80s — and on to international songwriting collaborations into the 2000s, including several tracks for Angelheart’s The Wild Heart of Alison album.
With Ajay’s tight production, MAINSTREET’s hard-hitting song, and Misty’s roaring vocals, “Under the Sun” is a time capsule of rock at its finest — finally ready to blast through your speakers.
