- Description
In the cradle of fire, where earth's heartbeat meets the sky, Meradalir emerges as an ode to rebirth. Nebno's ethereal vocals build layers, creating a cloud of dreams, textures, and chaos, echoing the primal dance of creation. Accompanied by a beautiful string arrangement and various piano recordings, the piece exudes a strong neo-classical charm that invites listeners into a realm of beauty.
The release of the Meradalir music video takes this captivating journey to new heights. Filmed amidst the breathtaking Swiss mountains at an altitude of 2000 meters, the visual masterpiece adds a stunning dimension to the song's ethereal qualities. Directed by acclaimed cinematographer Magnus Andersen (ISL and SWE), the video features performances by Emma Thesing (US) and Luis Martinez Gea (ESP), whose connection is profoundly deepened by the surrounding natural splendor. Emma and Luis embody the song's themes of rebirth and creation, their movements and expressions mirroring the powerful forces of nature that envelop them. Andersen's masterful cinematography captures the raw beauty and profound tranquility of the mountainous landscape, enhancing the emotional depth of Nebno's composition. Together, the song and video for Meradalir create an immersive experience that celebrates the intrinsic bond between humanity and the natural world, leaving a lasting impression of beauty and wonder.

Lyrics:
In the heart of the earth a fiery soul
Oh, mother we hear your voice
Let us tend to your wounds
With hope and care
You birth the seasons
Each a chapter’s tale
Embrace your essence
Breathe life in the air
What a journey
