Quick and Dirty is a nerd-electro-rock project created and owned by Sergei Dalbrosovsky. The project is part of the artists roster from Helvet Underground since 2006.
The first album, Nerdologeek, was published in 2008 and was designed as a soundtrack for a nerdly revolution. The second one, Music for weasels parties published in 2009, is the direct work follower maintaining the same idea and adding some new experiments.
Quick and Dirty finds its meaning in a term used in reference to anything that is an easy way to implement a workaround. Its usage is popular among programs, who use it to describe a crude solution or programming implementation that is imperfect, inelegant, or otherwise inadequate, but which solves or masks the problem at hand, and is generally faster and easier to put in place than a proper solution. That's totally what Quick and Dirty is looking for, not only in the way of making music but also in the music production, looking for no time wasting and 100 percent pure effectiveness.
